Transcoding Using the Inbuilt Playout and Encoder Software

Adaptive bitrate streaming (Transcoding) is available only in the higher-end versions of Livebox.
Create both output and input server channels in Livebox.
Then go to Manage Channels from the navigation menu under which click Transcoding.

A Transcoding page opens up. Under Select a Channel, select your Input channel.

In Output Channels, select the channel where the video has to be transcoded. Then give Turn on near transcoding.

Once you give a turn on, the new options for transcoding show up, where you can set the Preset. And then click Save.
Note: Both the Transcode Output URL and Transcode Embed Code are generated by Livebox.

After clicking save, give Service Restart to get your changes applied and to start off with your transcoding.

Then go to Livebox Playout software and click Add File to browse video source from your PC and to add video source in your Schedule Playlist.

Your video source is added. So, now click Play to play your video in Playout Preview.

You can preview your source and also enable and adjust the audio of your video source.

Now go to Livebox streaming server.
Then go to Channel Dashboard under Manage Channels from the navigation menu.
In Channel Dashboard click Streaming URL to copy the streaming RTMP URL of your Input Channel.
Go to Livbox Encoder. Select your playout device in Video Device and Audio Device, and then enter the copied RTMP URL in the URL tab.
Click Preview if you want to preview your live stream and then give Start.

Now go to the Livebox Dashboard where you can check the transcoding quality of your output channel near the bottom right corner.

To check RTMP stats of your streaming channel go to the Viewers Report.

In RTMP stats it shows audio and video bitrate of both output and input channels.

And when you embed the output channel streams on your website, you can copy the Transcode Embed URL to publish the live stream on your website.
Note:  Through the Transcode Embed URL, you can publish the streaming content along with the transcode video quality.

To conduct Multi-bitrate streaming using the  Livebox Playout and Encoder software, Create your channel in the Livebox streaming server. Go to  Manage Channels  from the navigation menu. Under manage channels, select  Multi-bitrate . In  Multi-bitrate  page, select your channel and  Turn On  multi-bitrate. Once you turn on  Multi-bitrate , the  preset  options will appear. Live Streaming the Videoconference to Livebox Channel/RTMP Servers

How to Stream the Live  Video Conference to a Livebox Channel or RTMP Link? Once Your Video conference is started, Go to the more action icon in the bottom right corner. Click on  Start live stream  from the list. A popup window will be open for you to put the  Streaming RTMP URL  and  Stream key  of your channel or RTMP server. Now go to your server and copy the RTMP URL from the  Streaming URL  option of your channel. Now paste the streaming URL in the Popup box and hit on  Start live stream . There you go! Your  live video conference should be live on your streaming RTMP server channel. From The RTMP server channel, you can embed the Video conferencing contents on your sites or push it to your social media accounts.

How to Live stream a 360-degree Source Using the Livebox Streaming server?

The Livebox streaming server supports the  live  streaming of the 360-degree camera and its source. So, to live stream a 360-degree source in Livebox you can’t do in the regular streaming way, as you have to enable a few settings in the player settings. To Live stream a 360-degree source, Login Livebox. From the Livebox dashboard, go to  Channel Settings . In Channel Settings, go to the  Player Settings . In Player Settings,  Turn On  the  Video360  setting. Then click the  Save  button beneath the player on the right side. Now make sure that you have connected your 360-degree camera to the encoder. Then stream the video source captured to the channel you have enabled the Video360 setting using the RTMP URL of the same channel.
